Three men robbed a convenience store on 24th Avenue SW Sunday evening, police reported today.
Norman Police Lt. Chris Dirck said the men entered Mr. Shortstop, 920 24th Avenue SW, shortly before 10 p.m. They approached the employee, produced a gun and demanded money.
Once the suspects had the money, one of them assaulted the employee causing minor injuries. Police said they fled on foot. Officers checked the area but no suspects were located.
The robbery is currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Bureau.
