Norman — Members of American Legion Post 88 will celebrate its 91st birthday 7 p.m. Monday at the post headquarters, 710 E. Main St.
As part of the celebration, Post 88 Commander Don Schulenberg said the group will honor two Norman firefighters, one Norman police officer and another officer from the University of Oklahoma Police Department. Each of the four honorees will receive a plaque.
“Every year, we try to honor police and firefighters,” Schulenberg said.
He said all military veterans are welcome to attend the birthday dinner.
