Norman — Norman artist Asia Scudder will have her work on display Thursday through April 10 at the City Arts Center, 3000 General Pershing Boulevard in Oklahoma City.

Her exhibit will contain wire sculptures inspired by her interaction with music as a child. Artists such as Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger are represented in her work.

“The show itself is all about music,” said Scudder.

Scudder said she has been creating art for 18 years.

Also showing with her is artist Andrew Polk, a photographer and painter, who will exhibit his abstract work.

A free reception for the exhibit will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the center.
