Norman — Morning rush-hour traffic was backed up on Classen Boulevard early Wednesday after two vehicles collided at Brooks Street.
Firefighters said injuries were minor in the 8 a.m. crash. Drivers were able to exit their vehicles but both of the cars caught fire.
Traffic was re-routed on Brooks Street around the accident.
Norman police investigated the wreck.
Police said one vehicle was northbound on Classen turning west. The other vehicle was southbound on Classen going straight. The driver of the northbound vehicle said he had a green turn signal, and the driver of the southbound car said she had a green light.
Officers said there were no independent witnesses to the crash.
