Norman — Norman Public Schools announced that 30 additional minutes will be added to school days beginning May 13 through May 28 to make up for the fourth day lost in January due to snowy weather.
Below is the revised school schedule for May 13 through May 28:
· Elementary Schools: 7:40 a.m. to 2:55 p.m.
· Middle Schools: 8:30 a.m. to 3:50 a.m.
· High Schools: 8:50 a.m. to 4:10 p.m.
Morning bus routes will remain on normal schedules. Afternoon bus routes will run about 15 minutes later.
Superintendent Joe Siano said the district will work with parents, students and staff to smooth conflicts caused by this calendar adjustment.
Two days were made up by Norman Public Schools in February. The third day will be made up May 28, which previously was scheduled as a snow make-up day.
