Norman — Daphne Oz, author of “The Dorm Room Diet,” will be discussing and signing her book 7 p.m. tonight in the Beaird Lounge of the Oklahoma Memorial Union.
Freshman year of college is synonymous with the “Freshman 15.” While most college students gain weight during this year, Oz, a 2008 graduate of Princeton University and the daughter of heart surgeon and author Dr. Mehmet Oz, lost weight and wrote a book about it.
This free, public event is sponsored by Student Affairs, the Oklahoma Memorial Union, Health Services, Recreational Services and the Merrick Foundation.
