Section of Woods Avenue closed today

Transcript Staff The Norman Transcript

Norman — Depending on the weather, the City of Norman Water Line Maintenance division is scheduled to begin installation of a new water line at the intersection of Woods Avenue and Canterbury Avenue today between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. 

The construction will make it necessary to close Woods Avenue from the south side of Charles Street to the north side of Barbour Avenue. Work should be complete by the end of the day. 

Barricades will be in place directing traffic to detoured routes along Barbour Avenue and Charles Street.
