Preparedness topic of ABWA meeting

NORMAN — Norman charter chapter of American Business Women’s Association will meet Tuesday.

The monthly meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Heart of Oklahoma American Red Cross Chapter, 1205 Halley.

Dr. Vivian Gibson, Norman chapter member and Heart of Oklahoma Disaster Health Services lead volunteer, will present a program on “Preparedness,” a community disaster education program.

Attendees will learn how to “Be Red Cross Ready.”

Gibson is a registered nurse and has been a volunteer with the Red Cross for 36 years. She wears many Red Cross hats, which include a member of the board; a Regional Health Service Reviewer; a Central and a member of the National Disaster Team .
