Babysitting boot camp scheduled next week

NORMAN — The American Red Cross, Heart of Oklahoma Chapter has scheduled its last summer session of Babysitting Boot Camp for Wednesday and Thursday. This course is open for ages 11 to 15.

The class not only teaches babysitting skills but also certifies youth in adult, infant and child CPR and standard first aid.

The cost of the two-day course is $85 and includes lunch and snacks both days. Participants will receive a babysitter’s portfolio which includes a first aid kit, a babysitter’s emergency reference guide, a Babysitter’s Training CD Rom and a Handbook. Enrollment is limited to12 participants.
