Health insurance needs work

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

Republican congressmen and senators never miss an opportunity to attack the Affordable Care Act but are silent about health insurance companies getting away with double-digit increases in premiums.

“Shop around for the best bargain” is their message to the uninsured. Easy for them to say. They have full health care coverage, not to mention fat salaries and generous pension plans.

Anyone facing the impossible task of searching for bargains where there are none, think about these Republican ingrates whenever they tell us — as they often do — that “we have to get the government off our backs.”
