Letter was prolonged attack

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

You twice printed the rather lengthy letter from Casey Holcomb decrying the opposition to an $8,000 appropriation to a local charity by the Norman City Council.

This letter was nothing but a prolonged ad hominem attack, which every high school graduate should know is a logical fallacy.

You should be ashamed of yourselves for publishing such garbage.
