I am disheartened by Saturday's game with Kansas State. The Sooners performed extremely well and won the game. Some of the so-called Sooner Fans, however, did all they could to spoil a great game for those of us who came to root for the home team.
There were alot of "boo birds" in my section and I for one, have had enough. It is bad enough to have loud obnoxious drunks in the stadium, it's another mater all together to have so-called fans booing their own team every time they think there's a bad play on the field. When I was a student here in the 1970s, I don't recall anyone booing our team, or the visiting team either. It's a disgrace for fans to boo their own team and a bad reflection on the Sooners in general.
Boo birds need to be escorted out of the stadium. It's a disgrace for these people to wear our team's colors and they should be banned from the stadium. I for one, think I will stay home and watch the rest of the games on television. The drunk in Row 57 and the obnoxious (and drunk) couple in Row 60 should do the same.
