As executive director of the Community Services Building Inc. I would like to thank all those who helped make the CSBI 2009 chili cook-off and silent auction a success.
Thank you to Randy May, (presenter of awards and Griffin Hospital administrator), Chili Chefs from: Aging Services, Among Friends, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Center for Children and Families Inc., Cleveland County Genealogical Society Library, Cleveland County Workforce STEPS Program, Dimensions Academy, Full Circle Adult Day Center, Habitat for Humanity, Legal Aid Services, Meals on Wheels, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Pioneer Library Literacy Program and Progressive Independence. Thanks also to Individual Chefs: Betty Groom, Timisha Harrell, Dan Johnson, John Koons, Kelli Smart and Jay Vache. These groups and individuals filled our building with enticing aromas that heralded our most delicious lunch.
In addition to donors, judges and the CSBI board of directors I'd also like to personally thank Darla, Robin and Chuck -- tireless volunteers from Among Friends -- who never failed to smile.
