Project has been mishandled

NORMAN — Editor: The Transcript:

Re: March 14 Our View article on American Indian Cultural Center and Museum.

This project has been mishandled from the beginning. The taxpayers of Oklahoma should not have put one cent into this facility and for sure should not add to the already misspent amount.

If the tribes want such a facility, then it should be up to them to finance the completion. Based on their small contribution to date, they seem to show little interest. The tribes have plenty of money to build casinos, therefore let some of that money go to the cultural center.
