Resident grateful for the assistance

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

I would like to thank two heroes who live in our community and tell them how grateful that I am.

My aunt, who lives in Nichols Hills, decided that she wanted to come visit me. She is 89 years young and is confused a lot of the time. She drove from her house to Norman and ended up at Bob Moore Nissan near Tecumseh Road and Interstate 35.

After walking the floor for a couple of hours, I received a phone call from Kevin who works at Bob Moore and was asked if I had an aunt. I said yes and, sure enough, she had made it to Norman — just not my house.

I drove to the Nissan dealership to get her. She was confused, so another employee by the name of Kwami followed me home in her car and Kevin followed up with another car to take Kwami back to Bob Moore.

What wonderful, selfless men these two were. They were willing to help us as a family and I am so grateful for them.

Thank you, Kevin and Kwami.
