The Norman Transcript

I am writing in regard to The Transcript article Feb. 16 titled “2010 Norman Mardi Gras parade winners announced.”
While we paraders are thrilled to be photographed, and honored to appear in The Transcript, we in the Krewe of Patty & Pinky feel that The Transcript staff (TS) may have been too close to our truck. In paragraph six of the article it states: “The Unidentified Rolling Object award went to Patty & Pinky’s PoOts n Pans Band.”
We are used to being called Old Farts, and sometimes deserve to be called that, but I think TS smelled the exhaust from the truck on this occasion. This unfortunate typo has given cause to a lot of teasing from friends and family. Patty & Pinky’s request that you set the record straight.
