We’re grateful for your help

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

Re: Norman Police Officer Paul Evans. Sunday was a sad/happy day for our family. There are no words that can describe the gratitude we felt when you helped us. We are truly grateful that you found the “granite memorial football” at the cemetery. We could not believe the care and understanding that you showed us.

We felt sad due to the disrespectful actions that somebody had shown at my husband’s grave, but we were filled with joy when you cared enough to listen, act and solve our problems that day. I wanted to thank you again. I hope you know there are people who appreciate your hard work and dedication. After speaking with you, I know you have been helping and serving your country for many years. You are a true blessing and deserve recognition.
