More than 100 surplus items on county agenda

NORMAN — The Cleveland County Board of Commissioners met Wednesday morning and discussed items listed as surplus from several county departments.

Items listed were from the county clerk’s office, the health department and sheriff’s office. Eighty items were listed from the Sheriff’s Office.

Items listed as surplus from the Cleveland County Health Department included 16 chairs, three desks, a computer desk, a CPU work station and hutch, and a work station. Two calculators from the county clerk’s office also were listed as surplus.

Other agenda items listed for disposal were from the Judge’s Office, which were traded, and equipment from Cleveland County District 2. The equipment from District 2 was an Earth Rammer, which was sold in an auction in 1997. The agenda said the item should have been taken off the inventory list in 1997.

Items from the judge’s office included a PC, a printer and a barcode laser scanner with a stand.

A resolution also was listed concerning bridge inspection responsibility by Cleveland County for compliance with the National Bridge Inspection Contracts for April 2013 through April 2006.

Other agenda items included:

· The appointment of Trent Bourland as a requesting officer for the Cleveland County Health Department.

· The allocation of alcoholic beverage tax of $49,012.28.

· The updated personnel policy.
