Salsa-making featured at upcoming workshop

NORMAN — The Cleveland County Master Gardener Association plans a class on how to make salsa.

The class is 10 a.m. Oct. 20 in the County Extension Building, Room C. 

This class will be conducted by Brenda Hill, family consumer sciences educator of Cleveland County Extension.

This event is free and open to the public. 

“Fresh salsa is fun and easy to make and so good for you, and it is a great way to use up those extra tomatoes from your garden,” said Tracey Payton-Miller, educator with the Extension Service. “Come salsa with us as we chop, dice and stir up some fun.”

The Cleveland County Extension Center is at Cleveland County Fairgrounds, 601 E. Robinson St. in Norman.
