NORMAN — Cox Communications residential e-mail customers began receiving stored e-mails Sunday, two days after the company acknowledging a widespread e-mail breakdown.
The company announced on Sunday to its customers that e-mails would slowly return but that they may not be in chronological order from Friday’s breakdown. No e-mails would be lost and the company was replacing equipment that caused the breakdown, according to a news release.
The breakdown did not impact the company’s cable television or telephone service.
