NORMAN — Yard waste
Starting in December, Norman yard waste will be collected once per month rather than once per week. The monthly pickup will run through the months of December, January and February. The monthly service will take place on the first full week of each month — i.e. Dec. 3-7, Jan. 7-11 and Feb. 4-8 — with customers receiving service on the regularly scheduled yard waste day.
During these three months, the compost facility will maintain normal business hours and will continue to accept yard waste brought in by customers from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
During March through November the city will resume weekly yard waste service. Compost and mulch will be available throughout winter months. The Sanitation Division can be reached at 329-1023.
