NORMAN — With county offices closed Monday for Columbus Day, Cleveland County Commissioners will meet 9 a.m. Tuesday at the county courthouse.
Commissioners will consider action on a lease purchase agreement between Cleveland County District No. 1 and Warren Power Machinery. The agreement is for two motor graders, at $247,450 each. Payments will be about $1,700 per unit per month.
During last week’s commissioner meeting, the board said a new motor grader was being purchased to replace one that was destroyed during the wildfire in August.
Action also will be considered on a maintenance and repair agreement between the Cleveland County Health Department and United Engines. The agreement is for a MTU Onsite Energy 750 kW generator located at 424 S. Eastern Ave. in Moore.
The health department will pay maintenance costs totaling $2,500, which includes inspections.
The board also will consider the application for a utility permit from West Star Operating Company for the installation of a pipeline on a county right of way. The item was tabled last week at the request of Commissioner Rusty Sullivan.
Other items on the agenda for Tuesday include:
· County bid: Four-month, non-encumbered contract for tires and tubes. The bid term will be from Nov. 5 to March 4.
· Jail report from the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Department.
· Requesting officers for the Cleveland County District Attorney’s Office M&O account.
· The disposal of state-owned equipment — an HP computer — in the Court Clerk’s Office, which was traded.
