NORMAN — The body of a missing Lindsay man was discovered in Seminole County near Bowlegs on Thursday.
The death of Nathan Dale Blankenship, 32, has been deemed a homicide by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, said OSBI Public Information Director Jessica Brown.
“It’s a very active and ongoing investigation,” Brown said.
Blankenship’s cause of death has not been determined, Brown said.
Two women have been arrested in relation to the case for unauthorized removal of a dead body. Jessica Cornwell, 33, and Adena Beasley, 32, both of Oklahoma City, were booked into the Seminole County jail.
Brown could not confirm if Cornwell and Beasley are homicide suspects.
Last seen in Oklahoma City on Feb. 2, Blankenship was reported missing on Feb. 4, Brown said.
