Normanites join state Home Builders board

NORMAN — Todd Booze of Ideal Homes and Donna Cullins of Preferred Plans Inc., both of Norman, will be leading the state home builders in decision-making this coming year.

Booze was installed Jan. 12 as vice president/treasurer of the 2,400-member Oklahoma State Home Builders Association, and Cullins is newly installed chair of the Associates Council and, in that position, joins the five-member leadership team.

Joining them on the executive council are vice president/treasurer Brandon Perkins as immediate past president, vice president/secretary Phil Rhees, both of Tulsa, and Jeff Click of Edmond as the association’s president.

Also at the Oklahoma City event, Perkins was named “Builder of the Year” and Terry Jennings of Oklahoma Rainmaster was named “Associate of the Year.”

Serving with Cullins on the Associates Council, representing businesses that support the home building industry, are Vice Chair Gina Cox, Stewart Abstract & Title; Treasurer Vanessa Shadix, Old Republic Title, and joining the council, Secretary Steve Sullivan, OG&E, and past chair Terry Jennings, all of Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma State Home Builders Association is a not-for-profit, professional trade organization that advocates for the state’s housing industry and serves some 2,400 members. The association is a corporate channel through which builders contribute time, money and services to lead community service projects and education initiatives.

Members include builders, remodelers, suppliers, manufacturers, architects, engineers, real estate brokers, lenders, attorneys and other industry professionals.
