The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — The city’s Street Division crews will close Jenkins Avenue between Lindsey and Brooks streets beginning today to perform concrete panel replacement and drainage repairs.

Full access to the stadium area will be maintained from Lindsey Street during construction.

Simultaneous to the concrete repairs, asphalt deep patching will occur between Brooks and Boyd on Jenkins Avenue. This work will be performed under traffic with flagmen on sight to direct traffic around the work zone. The recommended detour route is Lindsey Street, Elm Avenue and Boyd Street.

All work will be completed by Friday. Questions about this project should be directed to the city of Norman Street Division at 329-2524.
