Medical and dental group hosts Haiti benefit tonight

Norman — The Christian Medical and Dental Association is hosting a benefit today with Oklahoma City-based Share Dancers to raise money for medical supplies for Haiti.

The association is sending 40 OU Health Science Center students, along with 20 health professionals to Haiti from March 12 to 21.

There will be a silent auction and classical concert 6:30 to 8 p.m. with a buffet dinner at the Dental Hall of Oklahoma History Center, 2401 N. Laird Ave. in Oklahoma City.

A presentation will be at 8 p.m. with a beginning ballroom dancing lesson from 9 to 9:30 p.m. The evening will conclude with dancing from 9:30 p.m. to midnight.

There is a suggested donation of $25 and $15 for students, and semi-formal attire is required.
