NORMAN — The primary on June 26 includes Oklahoma Senate District 15.
Oklahoma state senators must be 25 years of age at the time of their election.
During their terms of office, legislators must reside and be eligible to vote in their legislative districts.
Republican state senate candidates for the District 15 primary include Jack Beller, Harold Haralson, Bob Neidhart and Rob Standridge.
All of the District 15 Republican candidates are from Norman.
Two of these candidates are medical doctors, one claims a 30-year passion for insurance and the other is a pharmacist. Three are veterans of the U.S. armed forces.
If needed, the run-off election for this primary will be Aug. 28.
The Republican nominee will take on Democratic candidate Claudia Griffith of Norman in November.
