NORMAN — The City of Norman’s mosquito control program will spray another district in Norman tonight.
Spraying will begin after 10 p.m. The area to be sprayed is bounded by Robinson Street on the north, Main Street on the south, Berry Road on the east and Interstate 35 on the west.
The Parks and Recreation Department also is looking for three additional mosquito trap sponsors. To qualify as a trap sponsor, the mosquito control officer would require access to the resident’s back yard Monday through Friday, access to a 110 volt outlet, and a location from which to hang the trap such as a pole or tree.
Residents interested in being trap sponsors may call Bill Ulch, Superintendent of Parks at 366-5478.
