Army Reserve Capt. Jonathan M. Lawson is returning to the U.S. after a deployment to Iraqi or Afghanistan in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom, respectively.
The soldiers return to Fort Dix, N.J. for debriefing, evaluations and out-processing procedures before returning to their regularly assigned Army Reserve or National Guard units.
Lawson, a military police officer, is a member of the 607th Military Police Battalion, Grand Prairie, Texas. He has served in the military for 17 years.
He is the son of Gerald D. Lawson of Purcell and Cheryl A. Bredeson of Norman.
The captain received a bachelor's degree in 2000 from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.
Air Force Airman Dustin T. Carlton graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.
Carlton earned distinction as an honor graduate.
He is the son of Theresa Carlton of Moore and is a 2005 graduate of Westmoore High School.
