NORMAN — A pair of University of Oklahoma professors that are leading scholars on Congress and politics are taking a deep look into today’s political scene by focusing one of its leaders in their new book “Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the New American Politics.”
The book is written by Cindy Simon Rosenthal, director and curator of the Carl Albert Center for Congressional Research and Studies at the University of Oklahoma, and Ronald M. Peters, Regents Professor at OU and former director for the Carl Albert Center.
The authors will give a lecture, take part in a question-and-answer session and have a book signing 2 p.m. Sunday at the Norman Public Library, 225 N. Webster Ave., in the Lowry Room.
