Entries are now being sought for The Norman Transcript's Christmas Story Contest. Deadline for story submissions is 5 p.m. Dec. 14.
Each year, Transcript staff read and vote for the best of the best of Christmas stories submitted by readers.
The winner will have the photo and story published on the cover of the Sunday Arts -- Living on Dec. 20.
Contest rules are as follows:
· Stories should be based on true personal experiences. No fictional work will be accepted. Entries can include a photo pertaining to the story.
· Stories must be typed, double-spaced and are limited to 450 words. Submit entries by 5 p.m. Dec. 14 via e-mail at lifestyles@normantranscript.com, mail them to Christmas Stories c/o The Norman Transcript, P.O. Box 1058, Norman, OK 73070 or hand deliver them at 215 E. Comanche St.
· Entries must include the writer's name, address and daytime telephone number.
