Cattlemen's Association gives awards at banquet
More than 100 people gathered for the annual Cleveland County Cattlemen's Association Annual Banquet Nov. 19 at Frye Auditorium at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds.
The evening provided an opportunity for guests to learn information about the beef industry and socialize with other producers in the county.
Awards also were given to the champion and reserve champion bred and owned heifer exhibitors from the 2009 Cleveland County Free Fair. The champion was Dalton Duke, Lexington and reserve champion was Coy Pfeiffer of Lexington.
In addition to the awards, more than 20 people took home door prizes ranging from tools and smoked turkeys to Heartland Flyer tickets.
