The American Business Women's Association Norman Charter Chapter's annual fund raiser, the Christmas Auction and Dinner, will be 4 p.m. Nov. 15 at the University Club in the Oklahoma Memorial Union.
The theme of this year's event is "A Very Merry Christmas."
Some of the items available for the auction include an autographed University of Oklahoma football and other OU memorabilia, St. Louis Cardinals baseball tickets, a stay at Norman's Embassy Suites Hotel and food and entertainemnt packages to local venues.
Gene McKown will serve as the auctioneer.
ABWA still is requesting items that can be auctioned, such as gift certificates for meals, entertainment or services, lodging packages, collectibles, hand constructed items, gift baskets, toys, saving bonds, or monetary donations. e auctioneer during the
Ticket price is $20 which includes dinner, auction, silent auction and door prizes. All purchases are tax deductible and it can be charged with Visa or Mastercard.
Since 1976, the Norman Charter Chapter of ABWA has provided scholarships to worthy disadvantaged individuals. The annual auction provides the largest share of educational funds and is the group's biggest event of the year.
