ABWA holds annual Christmas auction

American Business Women's Association (ABWA) will hold its annual Christmas Auction 4 p.m. Dec. 2 at the University Club in the OU Student Union.

The silent auction will begin at 4 p.m., dinner at 5 p.m. and the live auction at 6 p.m. The live auction will be conducted by Norman auctioneer Gene McKown.

ABWA is a non-profit organization that provides scholarships to individuals in the Moore Norman Technology Center -- Options Program. The annual auction provides the largest share of educational funds and is ABWA's biggest event of the year.

Some of the items donated this year are: a patio set, by Thompson's Pool and Patio, airline tickets, courtesy of Southwest Airlines, tickets to Sea World San Antonio, a private opera performance, Cimarron Circuit Opera Company, show tickets to several Branson venues, Rodney Carrington Tickets at Fire Lake Casino, Shawnee, day with a vintner at Stable Ridge Winery, Stroud, University of Oklahoma softball, men's basketball, women's basketball and football, organic beef-Paladin-Deter, hotel rooms, restaurant gift certificates and many more items that make great Christmas gifts.
