Truman Elementary
Technology Specialist Lee Nelson visited the school to assist teachers with questions and programs used in the classroom.
Parents and students attended Math Night where they explored math techniques and games used daily in the classroom. Students shared hands-on math activities and computer Web sites.
Second-graders recently attended the play "Nat the Great" at Rose State College. Students prepared for their trip to see the play by reading books and completing classroom activities with librarian Tiffany Wylie.
January Student Council members are Jordan DeArmon, David Ozinga, Abby Heefner, Keyonte Simon, Kennedi Hammer, Austin Douglah, Sruthi Kaushik, Annie Dong, Owen Mahoney and Blake Barnard.
Third-graders attended the play "Hansel and Greta" at the Cimarron Circuit Opera.
Monday, fifth-graders will hear a presentation from Whittier Middle School.
Fifth grade band recruitment begins Tuesday.
Classrooms will host Valentine's Day parties 2 to 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Fourth-graders will attend an OG--E presentation Feb. 16.
