Crossroads announces new website

NORMAN — Crossroads Youth & Family Services Inc. recently announced that the agency has a completely revamped website with a new address.

“This process took a long time to complete,” said Marla Parish, director of administrative services. “We think it was worth the wait, though, because now we have a website that better reflects the breadth and quality of services offered by Crossroads. Visitors to the new site, www.crossroadsyfs.org, will be directed there automatically even if the old ‘dot com’ address is entered into the web browser. We wanted the public to be aware of this change, however, because it’s important to note that email addresses of Crossroads’ employees will not be affected. Email addresses will still end in dot com rather than dot org.”

The website remodel is a way for the agency to gear up for its 10th anniversary.

“We are beginning to gear up to celebrate our 10th anniversary of providing Head Start services in 2013, so we wanted to update our website in preparation for that milestone in the life of our agency,” Executive Director Lisa Winters, said. “We think this improvement will help us provide better information to the public about programs and services to children and families that our organization offers.”
