OKLAHOMA CITY — The next Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) Fall lecture series, “The Future of Serving Oklahoma Seniors,” will be presented from noon to 1 p.m. on Nov. 8 in the Governor’s Blue Room at the Oklahoma State Capitol.
Guest speaker will be Lance Robertson, director of OKDHS Aging Services Division, and president of the National Association of States United for Aging and Disability.
Robertson will provide his insight on how Oklahoma can further improve its service delivery to seniors in need. He also will discuss the reauthorization of the Older Americans Act and federal budget issues — both of which are significant drivers in the reshaping of the aging network landscape.
All lectures are free and open to the public. For more information, call the Office of Planning, Research and Statistics at 521-3552.
