Norman — The Little River Zoo’s Junior Zookeeper program will make a spring break return next week for local children.
The camp will run 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through March 19 at the zoo, 3405 120th Ave. SE.
Different daily activities will encourage Junior Zookeepers to discover many lessons to learn about life from the zoo’s animals. Children will do a variety of keeper work and enrichment projects with cougars, foxes, monkeys and wolves. They also will do an “Early Easter” project that includes creating and hiding special prize eggs for the monkeys.
Cost for the week is $129 and will include a free family graduation celebration Friday night. Junior Zookeepers will need to bring their own sack lunch each day.
