Edmond group Emit will give a show to mall-goers Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Sooner Mall during the Shop Til You Rock event aimed at teenagers. The Shop Til You Rock event will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday.
Emit is made up of four socially-conscious guys who love to rock. Brian Collins serves as the group’s bassist while his cousin Caleb Collins plays guitar. Benjamin Killebrew gives the group’s sound TLC as synthesizer and Austin Brimacombe keeps the beat as drummer.
Six years ago, the group began playing music locally and are now branching into the regional scene.
The group released their sophomore album “Symptoms Begin to Show” in 2009 and have planned the release of their third album for Nov. 24 of this year. Their first album “Say It Plain” was released in 2007.
