NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma, the College of Arts and Sciences, the H.L. Dodge Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts School of Drama present a special performance of the Tony award-winning play “Copenhagen,” written by Michael Frayn and directed by Susan Shaughnessy.
A play based on the 1941 meeting in Copenhagen of physicists Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg, “Copenhagen” is presented as part of the Centennial Celebration of the Homer L. Dodge Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Oklahoma. Performances are 8 p.m. Sept. 9-11 and 3 p.m. Sept. 12 in the Weitzenhoffer Theatre, located inside the Fine Arts Center.
Tickets for the drama are $10 for the general public and free for OU students and faculty/staff and alumni through the funding provided by the H.L. Dodge Department of Physics and Astronomy, Greg Parker, chair; the College of Arts and Sciences, Paul Bell, dean; Kelvin Droegemeier, vice president for research; and OU President David L. Boren.
