Moore/Norman board to meet

NORMAN — The Moore Norman Technology Center Board of Education will meet 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Conference Room A-200 of the Norman campus facility.

Under the category of recognition and reports, the board will recognize digital video production students for excellent sideline camera work during Moore’s football season, celebrate the 20th anniversary of Help In Reaching Employment and honor Jerry McConnell, MNTC facilities director, for being selected to serve on the Governor’s Council on School Violence.

Items for the board’s action include sale of items designated as surplus property, change and purchase orders and the superintendent’s personnel recommendations for two pre-engineering teacher positions and part-time employees.
