Norman school to hold orchestra demo

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — The Norman Public School string faculty will visit elementary schools to demonstrate orchestra instruments to fifth grade students Sept. 7 through Sept. 9.

Orientation sessions for interested students will be 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 8 and Sept. 9 in the Nancy O’Brian Center for the Performing Arts.

The sessions will give students the chance to select the instrument — violin, viola, cello and string bass — they would like to play and parents the opportunity to ask questions about the program.
