Former fugitive sentenced to jail

NORMAN — Preliminary hearing set for other two in trio

A Cleveland County woman who was part of a fugitive trio arrested last year entered a blind plea Wednesday morning.

Danyale Bernice Siford, 35, was sentenced to one year in county jail for failure to report child abuse with credit to the time she had already served, Assistant District Attorney Lori Puckett said. Siford was charged Sept. 6 and bonded out Sept. 21.

The charge against Siford involved a 13-year-old girl in which Siford’s husband, Joseph, and friend, Michelle Walker, allegedly sexually abused on numerous occasions.

The trio fled to Vancouver, Wash., in August after search warrants for their homes in Moore and Noble were issued.

Joseph Michael Siford, 40, of Moore, was charged with four counts of first-degree rape by instrumentation, two counts of lewd acts with a child under 16, first-degree attempted rape and two counts of first-degree rape.

Michelle Danae Walker, 44, of Noble, was charged with three counts of forcible oral sodomy, first-degree rape by instrumentation and production of juvenile pornography.

Investigators learned that Walker reportedly introduced the 13-year-old girl to the Sifords after she “met them through a Facebook site called ‘Party Friends,’ which she later learned was a meeting spot for ‘swingers,’” according to the affidavit.

Walker and the Sifords allegedly engaged in sexual contact with each other in the child’s presence, and Danyale Siford allegedly encouraged the girl to engage in sexual contact with her and her husband, according to court documents.

One encounter between Joe Siford and the girl was video-taped.

The crimes allegedly occurred multiple times in Noble at Walker’s residence, in Moore at the Siford’s residence and at Thunderbird Lake in Norman.

A preliminary hearing is set for Joseph Siford and Michelle Walker at 2 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Cleveland County Courthouse.
