OSBI gets warrants to search apartment, pickup

NORMAN — The State Medical Examiner’s has performed autopsies on two of three victims found inside a burned mobile home Friday in rural McClain County, according to the agency’s spokesperson.

Investigators found Katrina Griffin and her two children, Christian Griffin and Chasity Hammer dead inside the trailer on Oklahoma 39 approximately 10 miles west of Purcell.

State Medical Examiner’s office spokesperson Cherokee Ballard said the third autopsy was scheduled for today. The Medical Examiner’s Office intends to release its findings once all autopsies have been done.

“That will happen tomorrow, we believe,” Ballard said Tuesday afternoon.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokesperson Jessica Brown said agents arrested Shaun Michael Bosse, 27, of Oklahoma City, on Friday night in connection to the deaths. He is being held at the McClain County Jail on three first-degree murder complaints.

Brown said an affidavit relating to the case was filed Tuesday in McClain County District Court. The affidavit revealed investigators found Katrina Griffin with several violent stab wounds to her abdomen. Christian Griffin suffered stab wounds around the left side of his neck.

According to an OSBI press release, agents found pawn tickets in Bosse’s wallet. The tickets revealed he pawned several televisions believed to be the property of murder victim Katrina Griffin. Those items were pawned after the murders.

Brown said agents also have obtained warrants to search Bosse’s Oklahoma City apartment and his pickup.

“We served a search warrant today on his apartment and recovered some possible evidence,” Brown said.

Brown could not reveal the evidence, she said.

“We are going to search the pickup sometime this evening,” she said.

The agency’s press release stated the OSBI is asking members of the public to come forward if they saw either Bosse and/or his pickup truck between the hours of midnight Thursday to about 8 p.m. Friday. Investigators are working to build a timeline of events for Bosse during those hours.

The OSBI tipline is 1-800-522-8017.
