NORMAN — First Fidelity adds bank officer

Lee R. Symcox, president and CEO of First Fidelity Bank, a locally owned full-service community bank, has announced the addition of Kasi McLaughlin as banking officer, human resources manager for First Fidelity Bank.

Norman resident honored

Robert Ruiz accepted an official citation from Norman Mayor Cindy Rosenthal at Tuesday night’s city council meeting. Ruiz was named the 2012 Recipient of the Citizens Honor Roll of Service for his “unfailing dedication and contributions to the citizens of Norman. Ruiz has served in a number of capacities for the enrichment of Norman. He was appointed to the Human Rights Commission in 2002 and served as its vice chair in 2004 and as chair from 2005 to 2007.
