NORMAN — David Swafford, owner/manager of Blue Star Land Services LLC, of Norman, recently announced the promotion of Jeffrey D. Morris to senior project manager for Blue Star Land Services.

Morris has been with Blue Star since 2004 and has been a Landman and Project Manager, specializing in Oklahoma Corporation Commission testimony, preparation of ownership reports, mineral leasing, and supervision of all phases of prospect management.

He attained certified professional landman status, the highest recognized professional certification in the land business in 2012. Blue Star Land Services has about 45 landmen and digital imagers and works primarily the state of Oklahoma, but also southern Kansas and the Texas Panhandle.

Mark Hollingshead, a licensed hearing aid specialist at Pioneer Hearing Aid Center in Norman was honored during the 61st Annual IHS Convention and Expo as part of the Society’s all-star recognition program. Pioneer Hearing Aid Center was established in 1974 to serve the hearing impaired community in Oklahoma and help improve the quality of life for residents.
