License renewals upcoming

NORMAN — It is once again time for the renewal of Trade Contractor and Journeymen — Electrical Mechanical and Plumbing — licenses, as well as Sign and Structure Moving Contractor licenses in the city of Norman.  On Feb. 22, more than 1,700 license renewal notices were mailed to licensees with an active 2012 license.

The renewals and payment are due back in city offices on or before March 31 and must include the following items:

Trade Contractor and Journeymen (Electrical Mechanical and Plumbing) License:

 · A copy of your Oklahoma State License issued from the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board

· A copy of your current Driver’s License or state issued identification card with photo ID

· Payment of fee

Sign Contractor:

· A copy of your current Driver’s License or state issued identification card with photo ID

· Sign contractors bond

· Payment of fee

Structure Moving Contractor

· A copy of your current Driver’s License or state issued identification card with photo ID

· Certificate of Insurance

· Intrastate Motor Carrier License or Unified Carrier Registration

· Payment of fee

 License renewals may be mailed to City Offices at 201-A West Gray Street. Renewals can be conducted in person at the Development Services Office. Questions may be directed to the Development Services Division Permit Staff at 405-366-5339.
