Norman Public Schools once again will be closed today for the third day in a row.
Also cancelling classes today are the Moore, Noble, Washington, Robin Hill, Blanchard, Little Axe, Purcell and Lexington districts, as well as Community Christian School, Trinity Lutheran School and Children's House Montessori.
Both of Moore-Norman Technology Center's campuses are closed as well, as they have been since Monday afternoon.
The University of Oklahoma has announced that its classes will resume Thursday.

Holiday paper delayed to doorstep, continue to be delivered
The Christmas edition of The Norman Transcript may be a little late to your doorstep.
Publisher David Stringer said the paper has been printed, but due to safety concerns for newspaper carriers it will be slow getting it delivered to all areas.

Griffin will play Saturday
Oklahoma forward Blake Griffin will play Saturday against Texas Tech. The decision was made Friday after the team arrived in Lubbock, Texas.

Former student allegedly pulls gun on faculty member
A former student allegedly pulled a gun on a faculty member at the University of Oklahoma late Friday afternoon.
It is alleged that an individual who has been identified by witnesses as former student Michael Joseph Childers pointed a gun at a member of the faculty in Kaufman Hall, according to an e-mail by OU President Boren sent out to all OU students Friday. - Structural issues force closing of Vista building, tenants being moved Norman's landmark Vista building was closed to the public Friday, after concerns arose about the building's structural integrity.

Feds make arrest in mailings of suspicious powder
A 47-year-old New Mexico man has been arrested on charges alleging he mailed threatening letters containing suspicious powder to banks and federal offices around the country, federal officials announced Tuesday.
Richard Leon Goyette was arrested at the Albuquerque, N.M., airport Monday, the U.S. Attorney's office in Dallas said. He is charged with knowingly and intentionally conveying false and misleading information. -
Classes scheduled to resume Friday for Norman and others
Norman Public Schools will be back in session Friday. Inclement weather has closed the district for the past three days.
Noble Public Schools also announced this afternoon that the district intends to hold class tomorrow.
Additional school openings and closings will be posted as information becomes available. -
