NORMAN — Oklahoma’s victory over Texas on Monday snapped a six-game losing streak against the Longhorns.
That run of losses dated back to 2010 season. Since then, the Sooners have beaten eight of the nine other current members of the Big 12 Conference at least.
The only substantial series losing streak still on OU’s list comes up at 3 p.m. Saturday at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kan. The Sooners haven’t beaten No. 3 Kansas since 2005 and have lost nine straight.
Kansas, which has won or shared the last eight Big 12 Conference titles, and Texas, are the only teams since the formation of the league in the 1996-97 season that has a winning record against OU.
