MANHATTAN, Kan. — Oklahoma’s five-game winning streak came to a crashing halt with Saturday’s 69-60 loss to No. 16 Kansas State at Bramlage Coliseum.
The loss dropped the Sooners to 12-4 overall and 3-1 in Big 12 Conference. The Wildcats improved to 15-2 and 4-0.
Amath M’Baye and Romero Osby led OU with 12 points apiece. But it was a struggle for them or anyone else wearing crimson to get the ball in the basket. OU shot 47.2 percent (25-for-52), but were 3 for 11 from 3-point range to go along with a woeful 7-for-15 effort from the free-throw line.
Rodney McGruder led Kansas State (15-2, 4-0) with 20 points. Will Spradling added 15. The tandem was a combined 7 for 15 from 3-point range.
